Regular Meetings

C.L. Dake Geological Society meets regularly at 5pm on Tuesdays in McNutt 124, and is open to absolutely everyone! Use the north entrance of the underpass, then turn right into the main hallway. Make the first left into a short hallway, McNutt 124 is the door on the right. The average meeting lasts 30 minutes.

The meetings are spent enjoying food and drink, while also planning either the mineral auction or the spring trip, in the fall and spring semesters respectively. Feel free to stick around for a while after the meetings to get to know us.

C.L. Dake Geological Society is also a Student Chapter of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG). This means that our members have the opportunity to travel to conferences to network and learn, and we even sponsor members to go! Learn more about the benefits of AAPG here.
